Cà Alfieri al 30 is an elegant XVIII century house, at the feet of the Savoia Castle of Govone, facing the beautiful hills of Langhe. The romantic rooms, with original frescos, carefully restored and decorated with antique furniture, remind the atmospheres of a French mansion. The rich breakfast, with home-made jams, cakes and fresh products of the region – cheese and cold cuts, is served in the ancient wine cellar or in the garden facing the hills. In the lounge you can relax with a glass of one the great wines of Langhe or Roero. Traditional Cooking & Tasting: You will learn how to cook 4 dishes, from “antipasto” to dessert. The class goes from 3pm to 6pm; the afternoon ends with a “merenda sinoira” where you can taste the dishes prepared, together with a glass of wine of the region. The cost starts from 80 euro per person (two persons minimum).
Menù and dinner “at home”: In this case you will cook with the chef a menu of 3 courses. You will receive some proposal of menu that you could personalise. At the end of the class, Bruno and I will prepare for you a table in the garden or in the wine cellar, depending on weather and we’ll serve the dishes prepared. Bruno will help you in choosing a wine to match the food. The cost of the class, including the dinner, water, coffee (wines not included) starts from 100 per person (two persons minimum).
Truffle Hunting
In season (october-december) You could consider to go in person to look for truffles with our “trifolao” (truffle hunter) and his dog! Truffle Hunting, about 2 hours, 40 euro per person (minimum 2 persons)
Wine workshops
Wine Tasting pills: to arouse your curiosity about the wonderful world of wine. In a couple of hours you can discover the fundamentals to understand the wine you are drinking, with a guided tasting of some wines from our region. about 2 hours, 40 euro per person (minimum 2 persons)
