Marias Apartment Paxi

George organised a taxi to collect us from the port and Cristina was there to greet us and show us around. The apartment was spotless, and there were groceries provided: fresh fruit, wine, cold drinks, pasta and tomatoes, etc. The description states there is a washing machine, but that washing machine is actually Maria, Cristina's sister! She washed and ironed four people's clothes every day - we were absolutely amazed and very grateful. No charge was made for this service. We had clean sheets and towels almost every day. They were completely unfazed when we changed things around a bit when my sister came over for three days! An absolute gem of an apartment, and 2 minutes from the night life of Gaios, whilst being totally silent at night! What more could we want (oh, maybe a slightly softer mattress!). Thank you, thank you, thank you! We'll be back next time we come to Paxos.
