By plane: The closest airport to Lefkada is the Aktion National Airport (PVK), located about 20 km away on the mainland. From there, you can take a taxi or rent a car to get to Lefkada. During the summer months, there are also charter flights from some European cities to the Aktion National Airport.
By car: Lefkada is connected to the mainland by a floating bridge, making it easily accessible by car. The drive from Athens takes about 4 hours, while the drive from Thessaloniki takes about 5 hours. You can also rent a car at the Aktion National Airport.
By bus: There are several daily bus services from Athens and other major cities to Lefkada. The journey from Athens takes about 6 hours.
