Recent stay at this well appointed hotel - the location is good, the staff could not have been more helpful and nice and the toiletries 1st rate - BUT - the windows need help, the alley is very noisy. About every 10 minutes there is some banging noise all the time. Then there is the BEEP, BEEP, BEEP from the trucks backing in early in the am. Also, the breakfast menu is too expensive. Even the provided ear plugs in the Sleep Kit wouldn't keep the noise out! On site hotel courtesy car is nice along as you make sure to ask different people more than once if at first its booked. We asked for a time slot for a ride when checking in, but the gal at the front desk said the car was booked. 10 minutes later we asked the concierge and got it. Confusing... I think next time we might look at The Eliot Hotel for a quieter stay.

We spent our first 2 nights at the XV Beacon after travelling from London.|Overall we were happy with our stay other than breakfast on our first morning which was horrendously priced for pretty average quality. |The hotel staff were very helpful throughout.

We really enjoyed the hotel. The furnishings, Apple cider, espresso in room, and especially the location. Close to everything. We were able to walk to most everything and the concierge arranged a trip to Salem for us. The restaurant attached Mooo was AMAZING too.
