The people were helpful. The room was comfortable. You can have a donkey bring your luggage but we carried ours. We did not get breakfast but there were places to eat or stores to buy yogurt so it worked out. I would recommend this place. We were really tired (Jet lag) and were able to nap in the afternoon.

I found the hotel owner to be strikingly rude. The hotel is high up so we had to walk uphill for a while with heavy luggages. No pick up service. I am used to better hospitality in Greece. The room was fine but overall the experience wasn’t pleasant.

Room was lovely. The location was good. The staff left something to be desired. They offered nothing about the facilities on Hydra. I also received a very unpleasant call from a girl at the front desk, complaining that I was in my room too late two days in the row, which inconvenienced the cleaning lady. Totally unacceptable behavior for what was supposed to be a high class hotel.
