The Caribbean is a region of the Americas that consists of the Caribbean Sea, its islands (some of which are enclaves in larger countries), and the surrounding coasts. The region is located southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and the North American mainland, east of Central America, and to the north of South America.
The Caribbean is home to a diverse range of cultures, languages, and traditions, as well as a variety of natural landscapes, including beaches, rainforests, and mountains. The region is known for its tropical climate, with warm temperatures and high humidity throughout the year.
Tourism is a major industry in the Caribbean, and the region is home to many popular vacation destinations, including Aruba, the Bahamas, Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Cuba, Dominica, the Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, and Trinidad and Tobago.
