The Hotel Opera Zurich is a small hotel located (no surprise) a few meters from the Zurich Opera House. Everything about it is small -- the lobby, the elevators, the rooms, the bathrooms. That being said, the service was very good and the facilities adequate.

We were welcomed in a friendly way. The receptionists were attentive and gave good advices on what to do, but the price is too high compared to other hotels. Thr check-out was nice and smooth. I think there are better alternatives elsewhere in the city.

One of the best value for money in this central area of Zurich, rooms are Swiss clean, bathrooms modern and functional and a good breakfast is included. Ideal for business or for visiting the city enjoying the lake and the opera nearby. It's a shame that their restaurant across the street has not that same sense of welcome that you find in the hotel.
