How to go to Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo, also known as Monte-Carlo, is a neighborhood in the Principality of Monaco, located on the French Riviera. There are several ways to get to Monte Carlo, depending on your location and mode of transportation.

By Plane:
The nearest airport to Monte Carlo is Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), which is located about 30 minutes by car from the city. From there, you can take a taxi, a bus or rent a car to reach Monte Carlo.
Another option would be the Helipad in Monaco for the ones who prefer a direct and scenic flight.

By Train:
Monaco has its own train station, Gare de Monaco-Monte-Carlo, which is located in the heart of Monte Carlo. It is served by trains from Nice and other nearby cities. From there, you can take a bus or a taxi to reach your final destination.

By Bus:
There are several bus lines connecting Monte Carlo to Nice, Cannes and other cities in the region. The buses drop off at various locations around the city.

By Car:
You can reach Monte Carlo by car from the A8 motorway, either coming from Nice or Cannes. There are several parking lots available in the city, including some underground parking garages. Keep in mind that parking in Monaco can be expensive.

By Boat:
You can also reach Monte Carlo by boat, either by taking a ferry from Nice or by renting a private yacht. The port of Monte Carlo is located next to the casino and has several marina.

It is recommended to check for the schedule and plan your trip accordingly, since the traffic and parking in the area can be quite busy and the prices for public transportation during peak season can be a bit higher.
