It can be said the heart and soul of The Netherlands resides at InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam. A shimmering presence located directly at the famous Amstel River, this luxurious five-star Amsterdam hotel welcomed its first guests in 1867, and has been celebrated for its regal magnificence and residential warmth ever since. · Great
Excellent break with very quiet night, more choice on vegetarian food in the bistro would be good, I did mark the sleep quality down slightly but more due to the discomfort of a knee replacement. Overall would thoroughly recommend if looking for a break in comfort and a great location just away from the hustle and bustle

As an Ambassador, we were upgraded to a canal view room and got a 4pm late checkout. Room was beautiful and tastefully appointed. Special thanks to Rick at check in and Tim, at the concierge desk. Both were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. We had a lovely stay.

The hotel is very classic and amazing, when we got there they gave us a free upgrade to one of the rooms, there cleaning services were excellent and they had plenty of food options in there room service menu, the hotel was near to the old town approximately 15 minutes of walking. The room had air conditioning but it was not so cold yet fine.
