Excellent stay at Hotel Leto. Very efficient and friendly staff. Clean rooms and property and the food was great. I assume most of Hydra is quiet at night but I liked the location, as it was close to everything, yet quietly tucked up in the neighborhood above the harbor.

I stayed here with my friend for three nights. The hotel is on a charming street, a few steps from the harbor. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The location is quiet and peaceful.Every morning, breakfast is served in the hotel's inner courtyard, under the shade of a beautiful old tree. The courtyard is filled with light, the breakfast buffet is substantial and the staff is extremely friendly. Most of the staff speak English; the owner and her son, Alexandros, speak perfectly. Alexandros went above and beyond for us, took us to a lovely trip on his speed boat and ensured and reassured that everything was well with us outside and inside the hotel.We found this to be typical of the wonderful welcome and hospitality of the Greek people. Hydra is a magical island, and our stay at the Hotel Leto was memorable. Kudos!
