Puri Mas Boutique Resort and Spa, Lombok, was originally built as a family residence dedicated to the owner’s grandfather and mother, who were descendants of the Keraton Solo, or the royal house of Solo, Indonesia.
Therefore, since its beginnings as the Owner’s residence, the Resort has never been run solely for monetary gain. Instead, the focus is and always will be on the guests, every each one of them. The staff and management strive to ensure their guests will enjoy the best holiday experience at the resort.
Today, the entire resort represents tradition, luxury and style. They are apparent in the resort’s general set up to the smallest details in every room. Guests have been raving about the resort’s collection of traditional arts and crafts from different places in Indonesia, which were gathered over the years by Marcel De Rijk as his personal treasures.
More Indonesian characteristics are visible in the resort’s layout, such as the meandering pathways through colourful tropical gardens, beautifully sculpted windows and doors in every room, traditional thatched roof, arts and crafts, dainty terraces decorated with antique furniture and local fabrics.
