How to go to Bhutan

Bhutan has limited air and land connections with the outside world, but it is still possible to travel to the country through the following methods:
By Air - The most convenient way to reach Bhutan is by air, with the only international airport located in Paro. Bhutan's national airline, Drukair, operates flights from several major cities in Asia, including Bangkok, Delhi, Kolkata, and Kathmandu.
By Land - It is also possible to enter Bhutan by land, with border crossings available from India. The three border crossings are at Phuentsholing, Gelephu, and Samdrup Jongkhar. However, travelers must arrange their travel with a licensed Bhutanese tour operator and apply for a visa in advance.
Through a Licensed Tour Operator - All visitors to Bhutan must book their trip through a licensed Bhutanese tour operator, who will arrange all necessary travel arrangements including accommodation, transportation, and a licensed guide.
It's important to note that the cost of visiting Bhutan is regulated by the government, with a minimum daily fee required for all visitors. This fee covers accommodation, meals, transportation, and a licensed guide. Be sure to check the visa requirements and travel regulations well in advance of your travel dates to ensure a smooth trip.
