How to go to Lesbos

Lesbos is an island located in the northeastern Aegean Sea of Greece, and there are several ways to get there:

By plane: Lesbos has an international airport (Mytilene Airport) that receives direct flights from Athens, Thessaloniki, and other major cities in Europe during the high season. The flight from Athens takes approximately 50 minutes.

By car: It is possible to reach Lesbos by car from Athens or Thessaloniki, taking the Egnatia Odos highway and then crossing the Strait of Mytilene by ferry from Ayvalik in Turkey.

By bus: There are regular bus services from Athens and Thessaloniki to Mytilene, the capital of Lesbos, which take approximately 10-12 hours.
