CasCades Restaurant is the Best Fine Dining in Bali


Cascades Restaurant graciously accepted the award for Best Fine Dining Restaurant in Bali by NOW! Bali Magazine on Friday, 2 October 2015. “We were very proud to have won this award. To know that CasCades Restaurant surpassed all other fine dining establishments in Bali is exciting since the bar is set very high for quality of produce and service in Bali.” said Executive Chef Nic Vanderbeeken.Chef Nic has brought recognisable talent and experience to the kitchen of CasCades, working continuously to improve the fine dining menu.

Bali Best Restaurant, Bar & Café Awards Held annually, NOW!Bali recognises the best restaurants in Bali through a public vote, and this year the outcome was unbelievable with an astonishing 350,000 votes submitted. This year 150 restaurants in Bali participated, of which 20 won specific categories. Being the only award nominations that encompass all areas of Bali and such an extensive array of categories, NOW! Bali is the best reference for good food and dining on the island.

Chef Nic Vanderbeeken He has 16 years of experience working in and establishing restaurants in France, Netherlands, Belgium, Vietnam and now Bali. His experience brings another level of sophistication in technique and flavours to the Viceroy Bali’s award winning restaurant. Starting his career at a young age in an entry level position in the kitchen of 1 Michelin Star Chez Bru, Nic learned the fundamentals from world renowned chefs. His passion and creativity catapulted him to sous chef position in several Michelin restaurants.

Cascades Restaurant CasCades is an award winning restaurant located 5 minutes’ drive from the centre of Ubud, perfectly positioned on a ridge overlooking the luscious Valley of the Kings. It provides a dining experience with striking tropical views alongside meticulously crafted food and wine menus. The 10 metre high Balinese style thatched roof houses the CasCades bar and casual dining area for lunch or afternoon cocktails.
